About Us
Established in 2012 at the International Prosthetic Eye Center, the Facial and Somato Prosthesis Clinic was created to serve individuals with facial and body defects resulting from trauma, cancer surgery, or congenital conditions. Our goal is to fit a customized, highly realistic prostheses that restores the missing anatomy to its near-normal form, revive their confidence, and enhance quality of life.
We provide a wide range of custom restorations, including orbital (oculo-facial), ear, nose, finger, toe, and nipple-areolar prostheses, each designed to blend seamlessly and look life-like.
Led by American Board-Certified Anaplastologists and Ocularists Dr. Deepa D. Raizada and Dr. Kuldeep Raizada, who bring over 25 years of clinical experience, our clinic combines advanced technology with medical-grade materials to create precise, patient-specific restorations.

Deepa D Raizada, PhD (Hon.), CCA, BCO, AIMPT
American Board-Certified Anaplastologist & Ocularist
Dr. Deepa D. Raizada completed her basic training in Ocularistry (2002) at L V Prasad Eye Institute, India, and advanced training in ocular Prosthetics (2005) at Moorfields Eye Hospital, UK. She served as an Ocularist at the Department of Ocular Prosthesis, L V Prasad Eye Institute from 2003 to 2010, where her expertise in fabricating and fitting ocular and facial prostheses earned wide recognition.
She earned her M.Sc. in Maxillofacial and Craniofacial Technology (2010–2012) from King’s College London, UK, specializing exclusively in maxillofacial prosthetics. Dr. Deepa works with cutting-edge technology to restore and rehabilitate defects of the eye, orbit, ear, nose, and also extends her expertise to somato prosthetics, including nipple-areolar, finger, and toe prostheses.
Her research focuses on advancing facial and somato prosthetic techniques, studying materials in-depth, and developing innovative solutions. Dr. Deepa is a proud member of the Institute of Maxillofacial Prosthetists & Technologists (IMPT, UK), International Anaplastology Association (IAA, USA), Oculoplasty Society of India (OPAI), All India Ophthalmological Society (AIOS), and Indian Optometric Association (IOA). She has presented her work at international conferences and published in reputed journals.

Kuldeep Raizada, PhD, BADO, BCO
American Board-Certified Diplomate Ocularist & Anaplastologist
Dr. Kuldeep Raizada completed his optometry education at Gandhi Eye Hospital, Aligarh, and trained at L V Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad, where he also served as Founder and Head of the Department of Ocular Prosthesis until 2009. He further specialized with a fellowship in Anaplastology at MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, and received advanced training from leading ocularists and anaplastologists in the USA.
He is the Founder & Director of the International Prosthetic Eye Center (since 2010) and has extensive clinical expertise in ocular and facial prosthetics, with a special focus on pediatric patients. His research interests include developing innovative prosthetic solutions and advancements such as ptosis corrective glasses.
Dr. Kuldeep has been recognized by the American Society of Ocularists (ASO, USA), the American Anaplastology Association (AAA, USA), and several other professional organizations for his excellence in research and clinical practice. In 2012, he became the first-ever Diplomate Ocularist across the Asia-Pacific and Middle East, completing over 14,000 hours of training and study.
He currently serves as a reviewer for journals including Contact Lens & Anterior Eye, International Journal of Anaplastology, and Oculoplasty & Reconstructive Surgery (OPRS), and has presented and published his work internationally.
